One of our research interests is inorganic synthesis and preparative chemistry. Through use of various techniques such as solid state reaction, vacuum deposition, arc-discharge, light-driven induction, chemical vapor transportation, hydrothermal and solvothermal reactions, we synthesized a series of solid compounds with unique structures and/or chemical and physical properties. We also focus on the application of the obtained solid materials in catalysis and energy storage.
The research projects of our group in the past decades include the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, NSFC Key Project, NSFC International Cooperation Key Project, National Basic Research Program of China (973) Fund, and Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Major Project.
